Original
This sixty year old photo
was flood-damaged in Texas in 1952. The light area on the face
was caused by a solvent in something which lay on the portrait
over a period of time. |
 |
Light Colorization &
Enhancements
The image has been slightly
colorized in this rendition, and some of the detail is being
enhanced. Since there is no record of the colors of either the
dress or corsage, we improvised, knowing the person's hair and
eye color. |
 |
Full Colorization
This is the final image, as
repaired and colorized, with a new background, as the old background
was too dark and damaged to use. |
 |
Original
This century-plus photograph
wasn't in really bad condition, but it wasn't like it had been
when it was new either. It had darkened and faded over a century,
and did have some small flaws and spills on it that a photoshop
wouldn't remove by photographing it and making a new print.. |
 |
Restored Photo
We enhanced and cleaned the
photo, and this is the result. While a photograph like this could
be colorized, doing so wasn't requested. |
 |
Original
This wallet-size photo (about
2.6 x 2.6 inches) was darkened, smudged, and damaged by handling
for half a century. It had both cracks and tears in it. |
 |
Repaired Photo
Cleaned and repaired, this
photo was reprinted at 5x5 inches and a new negative made for
the family. The copyright notice shown on this example does not
appear on the face of the family photo |
