Original
Another photo of the same
woman, taken just days before her death in an automobile accident.
This photo was later used for a portrait painted by her mother,
and was pinned to a board duing that process, leaving holes in
the photopaper. The photo also had scribbled marks on it, probably
from her child, who was raised by his grandmother following his
mother's untimely death. This photograph is one of the few remaining
photographs of Eagle Graphics' owner's mother, and was one of
his incentives for becoming involved with photo reconstruction.

Enhanced Photo
This is the cleaned and repaired
photo. A photo of the oil-painted portrait will appear in another
area of this or a related site soon. |

Original
This "studio" photo
of owner, Pat, and his wife, Norma, like many portraits, had
an uncomplimentary, and uninteresting background. The photo itself
was slightly dark, and overall had a slightly negative effect.

With New Background
This rendition of the photo
has been brightened, and the colors enhanced to give the effect
of sunlit subjects. The background is a photo of the Grand Canyon,
where the couple often goes for a holiday. This background replacement
/ enhancement is typical of the type of work done by Eagle Graphics
on many portraits to bring them to life. |
